Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Trendora ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Trendora, operated by Kacey Wacey, United Kingdom.
2. Description of service
Trendora is a YouTube comment intelligence platform. It reads public comments on YouTube videos using the official YouTube Data API v3, analyses them using AI, and produces reports that identify what content your audience is requesting. The Service includes both a free tier (single video analysis, no account required) and paid subscription tiers (full channel monitoring with weekly reports).
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Trendora. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@trendora.co if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits or free tier restrictions.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Prices may change with 30 days notice. If we increase the price of your current plan, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance.
Failed payments will result in a retry. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable retries, your subscription will be paused and access to paid features will be suspended until payment is resolved.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, you will continue to have access until the end of the period you have paid for.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service for an extended period, contact us and we will consider a credit or refund on a case-by-case basis.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to analyse channels you do not own or have explicit permission to analyse
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Service
- Use the Service in any way that violates YouTube's Terms of Service or Google's API policies
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs without written permission
- Use the Service to harass, target, or collect data about individual commenters
7. YouTube API compliance
Trendora uses the YouTube Data API v3. By using Trendora, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Trendora's use of YouTube data is strictly read-only. We do not post, edit, delete, or modify any content on your behalf.
8. Intellectual property
Trendora owns all rights to the Service, including its software, design, and branding. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to use our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.
The reports generated by Trendora are based on your YouTube channel's public data. You retain ownership of your channel's content and comments. The AI-generated analysis in your reports is provided to you for your own use.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI analysis will be accurate or complete. Content ideas generated by Trendora are based on comment pattern analysis and should be used as one input among many — not as a guarantee of video performance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Trendora's total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, loss of subscribers, or loss of content.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent activity. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Upon termination, your access to paid features ceases immediately. We will retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Contact
